We are excited to announce the confirmation of our 2nd booked appearance and performance for our wedding: Adora!
Danilo de la Torre (“Adora”) is an amazing artist and dancer that was classically trained in ballet, and well known for his larger than life performances. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Danilo spent his early years in musical theater and cabaret from age of seventeen. As a young aspiring artist he moved to Paris to further train and joined Le Ballet Theatre de la Seine, where he continued to work in contemporary and modern dance.
In 1988 he moved to Miami (before it was dubbed ‘South Beach’) and created ADORA. Since then Adora has been an icon whose extraordinary wigs, make up, and captivating stage presence gave rise to his still undisputed title of “Queen of South Beach”.
Adora’s repetoir of lip-sinc’ed interpretations include a variety of muscal styles, languages, and culture.
We are excited for Adora’s performance!
