Greetings!

Hello family and friends:

We met at a restaurant where we both worked at the time. Who could have imagined our shared work experience would bloom into a whole life together? After almost 7 years of dating, we've tied the knot in Mendocino, a place very special to Ryan, where his beloved grandmother Cay lived and thrived.

With the complete love and support of our family, we had a small private wedding with just the two of us. It was a truly magical experience. We will be getting together with all of our parents in October to have a family blessing ceremony and celebration.

We are very fortunate to have so many family and friends who show us no end of love and generosity. We request that if you would like to give us a gift in celebration of our marriage, you please donate to our dream honeymoon. A trip to Lyon, France, would be an absolute dream come true for us both. You can find more details of that below.

Thank you for your love and for bearing witness to this wonderful time in our lives!

Lyon, France

Our dream is to go Lyon, France: the birthplace of modern cuisine. We'd eat through over a dozen Michelin starred restaurants, wander through open air markets rich with a variety of treats, and marvel at the wondrous art and architecture borne through Lyon's rich history. As one travel blogger wrote: "I think Lyon, more than any other city in France, embodies that illusive French "art of living" – the joyful synthesis of all that makes life worthwhile: food, wine, culture, friends and family – and it's an art that the Lyonnais are very happy to share with even the most casual visitor." It would be a very special experience to share this in our first European trip ever!
