We're hoping to plan a honeymoon next year with Europe in mind. Feel free to contact us via the link below if you need more info about how it works.

Here's the story of how this all went down:

Many family and friends had been encouraging us to get married despite the limitations during the pandemic. In the week leading up to our original wedding date, we thought "What the heck, let's see if we can get a marriage license in time!" We woke up on the morning of Wednesday, July 29th with our minds made up. It was the last possible day to get a marriage license in time for Saturday, August 1st and by golly, we somehow pulled it off. We tried three different notaries in Everett before finding one that was actually open and accessible, and then headed to Mt. Vernon to obtain the marriage license. That's when reality set it and the two of us realized, "Wow, ok! This is really happening. But how do we do this?"

With just five dear friends who gladly joined and helped create a wedding with little notice, we headed to Richmond Beach, like we'd always planned. We found a gorgeous spot on the upper terrace to hold a silly, intimate ceremony. Though we had envisioned being surrounded by an abundance of family and loved ones, we made an important decision to commit to each other despite these strange and trying times, while saving a larger celebration for a moment when the risks for gathering have passed.
