The weekend will take place as follows:

Thursday 30th June 2021 at 18:00: Wedding ceremony, followed by the reception, dinner & dancing. Carriages at 2am.

Friday 1st July 2021 at 11:00: Farewell brunch at the villa with the newlyweds

As some of you are travelling a long way to get to us, you may want to make a holiday out of it. Below are some ideas of places to visit:

In Florence: the Uffizi, the Galleria dell ’Accademia, the Ponte Vecchio and the banks of the Arno River, Piazza Michelangelo, the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Basilica di Santa Croce di Firenze and the Boboli Gardens.

Around Pisa: The leaning tower of Pisa and Forte dei Marmi

In Liguria: The Cinque Terre, Portofino, Portovenere and Tellaro

In Tuscany: San Gimignano, Volterra, The Chianti area, Siena, Montalcino, Bagni San Filippo thermal baths, Mulino di Saturnia waterfalls and thermal baths, Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana.

The only way to get to the wedding location is by car or taxi (there is no Uber in Italy). The roads are extremely narrow and winding and the parking is scarce, so we highly recommend getting a taxi to the main gate at Via del Rossellino 72. If you do decide to drive, there is parking at the Museo del Calcio – Coverciano but this is 3.5 km from the venue. It will be possible to organize a shuttle bus from there once we know how many people require this service. If you need this service, then please let us know before the end of March 2021.

The venue can book taxis or shuttle buses for you up until 2 am when the party ends.

For the Friday brunch you can either get a taxi as per the day before, or if you would like to drive, you will be able to park closer to the villa in Via del Loretino (see map) as the second gate of the villa will be open on the Friday. From the parking lot it is approximately a 200m walk to the villa.

We understand this is all bit complicated (we promise it will be worth it!), so if you have any doubts do write to us and we can explain in further detail.
