Hello everyone!

[The beginning of] Our story:

We met at Montana State in our senior capstone course, teaming up to make the best group in class and easily becoming quick friends! Graduation came almost too fast (but also not fast enough) and was celebrated together with friends in Bozeman, Seattle, and again in Montana. Then Hailey moved to Texas and the reality of life after college set in... along with a global pandemic. Both trying to navigate budding adulthood, we talked often, finding both comfort and freedom in one another. In times of self-isolation and quarantine, we found love and connection. It didn't take long to know we wanted to navigate all this together.

Becca made trips to visit Hailey in San Angelo (read: the middle of nowhere) where we exhausted every activity in the 50 mile leash the Air Force had on us! When there was nothing left to do we headed to the animal shelter and adopted Reuben, our four-legged bundle of love who makes us laugh and smile every day. When the Texas snow-magedon delayed our move to the Midwest, the three of us spent a week in a hotel, playing in the snow, making food, and thoroughly enjoying being stuck with each other. Once in St. Louis, Hailey started at Scott Air Force Base and Becca found a civil engineering position!

The next summer was filled with adventures to Chicago, Seattle, LA, SF, and Bozeman – with a pretty notable week in the Sierra Mountains. Becca has explored a lot of this world, but Hailey got to show Becca her favorite part of it, making new memories in places that stay remarkably the same year in and year out. Hailey didn’t think it could get any better up there, but Becca proved otherwise and we drove back down those mountain roads an engaged couple!

In September 2021 we bought a house near the Air Force base and it has been a blast making it our own. We love to explore the local area’s breweries, hikes, shops, and parks for dog walks. We'll make our way back to the Northwest in the future, but we are enjoying the Midwest for now!

The past few years have been a lot of making the most of the cards life deals us, but in each other, all we see is four 5’s and a Jack - the best cribbage hand out there. Life is full of adventures – the ones we choose and the ones life chooses for us, and we’re ready to take them all on hand-in-hand.

The first adventure we’re choosing is a trip to Ireland for our Honeymoon in May! We ask that in lieu of a traditional registry, if you wish to, please contribute to our honeymoon fund.
