Hello friends and family,

Their story started before they actually met. Ryan and Marietta were attending the same college at the same time with a mutual friend circle. Little did they know they would cross paths for the first-time years later. And although they both lived in different countries, Ryan living in Russia, and Marietta living in the Dominican Republic, against all odds destiny brought them together. It was years later when their path finally crossed, and they connected over a shared interest of their competitive nature with sports and fitness. From there they were continuously spending time together which led to their discovery of all that they had in common. Without even realizing it, Ryan and Marietta started to do literally everything together to a point where they were inseparable. This led to them spending time together twenty-four seven and ultimately leading to devoting all the time they could to each other. Their life started to dramatically change for the better. It became evident how well they balance each other out. As time went by it was more apparent to them that they were a perfect team and companionship. That any hardship that was thrown their way they comprehended that they were a rock for one another, team player, and understood they can get through any difficulty together. On April 26, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, as Marietta was distracted watching her TV show, Ryan made a quick and quiet move to set up a romantic setting on their balcony with many rose petals, candles, champagne glasses, colorful lights, and a cozy comforter blanket. To complete the ambiance Ryan had their favorite song playing, “You Make Me Feel So Young” by Frank Sinatra in the background for a perfect proposal setting. Ryan carefully chose this date to propose to maintain their famous pattern of the number 26. Both of their birthdays are on the 26th and one month apart, hers being in February and his being in March. It was only ideal for him to maintain this pattern and proposal on April 26. Ryan then continued to blindfold Marietta and guided her to the balcony and surprised her with the romantic setting he had placed for her. He then proceeded to declare his love for her for the next hour because he was nervous to ask the question. Ryan finally pulled out the ring and requested her hand in marriage. When Marietta said “YES!”, they were both filled with joy and excitement for the next chapter of their lives.
