Greetings!

Hello friends and family,

We would like to thank you all for understanding our wish to have a small ceremony in our happy place- the mountains! It feels fitting to have an intimate experience in which we can focus on each other and the promises we are making. That being said we wouldn't want to miss out on celebrating with all of the most important people in our lives! We are also so thankful for the opportunity to see everyone we love before departing on a long adventure.

Your presence alone is our gift. We will soon be moved out of our apartment in Oregon, and have not yet moved into our very tiny cabin in Montana which is currently being rented out as we travel. As such we have no need for a traditional wedding registry and would not want any presents to go unused. If you wish to contribute to our adVANture, Honeyfund is a neat platform to do so and we would surely appreciate it!

Thank you for all of your love and support, we are so happy to have you in our lives and cannot wait to celebrate the union of two families!

Nepal and Patagonia

This Summer marks our fourth year living and working in Portland. This time has been a grand experiment in city living where we grew as a couple and identified what's important. We have grown to love the people and places of the Pacific Northwest, but the time has come to start a new chapter. The seeds for all this were planted a few years back when we began to dream big about what could be. Travel plans slowly took shape and we developed a strategic plan to live out our dreams. As things evolved, we also managed to grow up a little. We adopted a dog, paid off students debts, and purchased our first house in Missoula, MT. Then in July of 2017, we got engaged while on a backpacking trip in Eastern Oregon. Since then we have spent a little time wedding planning and a lot of time adventure scheming. After the wedding, we will fly to Nepal to explore the roof of the world on foot. Once winter snows us out, we will head way south to Patagonia to explore the continent's most unspoiled wilderness by campervan. We are most looking forward to traveling at our own pace, and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to slow down and enjoy each other during what will be our first adventure filled year of matrimony. We have been playing the slow game for years and its all about to happen!
