Dear friends and family,

While the pandemic was a factor in deciding to have our wedding by ourselves on top of a mountain, the truth is.. it was kind of the wedding we always wanted! Neither of us ever being that eager to be in the spotlight, a no-pressure, no-stress wedding was much more our speed. We hiked to the top of the Crag Crest Trail on the Grand Mesa, and while enjoying the breathtaking scenery we read our vows to each other & signed our marriage license. It was incredibly beautiful & meaningful to us, the perfect way to initiate the next phase of our already 10-year-old relationship.

Since we have been living together for so long, we certainly don't really need more stuff. So we decided to humbly ask you for contributions to our honeymoon instead of traditional wedding gifts! The pandemic has made planning any travel impossible for now, but we hope to be able to take a long trip to the Northwest, Canada and maybe even Alaska hopefully next spring or summer.

We fully recognize that many people are struggling financially at this time, so we've set this Honeyfund up purely for those who want to and are able to give. Please give only what you can spare and do not feel any pressure to give us anything at all!! All we really want is to see your faces at whatever celebration(s) we end up having once large gatherings are safe again.
