Greetings!

Sariah and I are so excited to get married on May the 4th at Makena Cove in Maui, and yes, there's some galactic motivations around the date :P

We aren't doing what most people do which is post up in a church or a venue where all are invited to join in on the celebration. Strangely Sariah and I have always been very private people. Ultimately we wish we could invite others to join us closer to home but the pressure of holding a big event would push us in ways that would not have been healthy for our relationship.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and just know, we're thinking about each and every one of you!

Sariah and I met at a party first, then a bar followed by an invite from Sariah to attend soup night. Which at the time, I thought was code for something (I don't know what). Her friends were coming and my friends ... well ... abandoned me. I had never been to a girls house before by myself but as I pulled in I mustered up the guts to knock on the door having no idea what to expect.

...and in fact, it was soup night. She was cooking up a storm waiting for her friends to arrive. 30 minutes later we both soon realized that her friends and my friends stood us up. This led to us having our first date in a small home with lots of soup and one on one time.

I didn't know then that I'd be spending the rest of my life with her. Both of us were at strange points in our lives. We both had our ups and downs along the way but somehow found each other.

From then on things didn't always work, but we figured it out. Soon we realized that while we have many differences, we do make a good team and we buckle down and work together when we need to. At the same time, we both give each other enough freedoms to continue doing what we enjoy to do.

So, here we are today, 8 years later.

Whether you donate to our registry or not, just know that we appreciate you and your contributions to the family. We're about to charge forth together on a new road with twists and turns. I personally, cannot wait!

Much Love,

Jason and Sariah
