We will also be sharing some updates on here as we get closer to our wedding so check in to be part of the fun.

Our wedding ceremony will begin at 4 and the ceremony will follow.
Dress will be casual (suits and cocktail dresses) but no one is going to get kicked out for the wrong clothes. :)
We have booked several rooms at Bent Oaks Manor (the same location where we will be holding our wedding and reception) from Thursday, November 14 to Sunday, November 17.
These accommodations are lovely, in Roanoke, already paid for and free to our wedding guests! We would love to host you at our beautiful venue!
If you would like to stay in one of these rooms, please let us know. Above you can find the link to the website.
First priority will go to our out of town guests but we will likely have rooms leftover.

It has been pointed out to me by the venerable Aaron Baldwin that we didn't have a time listed. That has since been corrected above along with dress guidelines.
That being said, since you're already reading, the ceremony will be at 4 with the reception to follow directly after.

Hello all,
The wedding is less than 2 weeks away and we're not going to let a car sized hole in our house stop us from being excited!
Above you can see a picture of what I alluded to in our last post - our Magic Bands for our Honeymoon! They got here the same day we got our license but I wanted to space the updates out.
We can't wait to see you can get our marriage started!

It's been a big week! We got our marriage license Friday! Neither of us loved the angle...But it was so kind of the court officer to come out and take the picture for us.
We also had a few other fun things we'll share soon...keep checking in.

We're just over a month away and we're very excited!
We wanted to make sure to post the parking information now while we're thinking about it. So attached please find a diagram that shows parking.

It's time for a public service announcement.
Our invitations have a line that reads, "I promise to hit the dance floor if the DJ plays:"
After receiving some RSVPs and having some conversations, we've realized that there is some misunderstanding here. We are asking you what song you'd like to request the DJ to play. The line ends with an implied blank. So if upon reading this, you now regret not including a request, please leave any requests on here. Thanks and sorry for the confusion.
Also with RSVPs from Jennea, Michelle, and Gary & Sharon our guest count is now up to 12 humans and 2 dogs plus we newlyweds! We're really looking forward to sharing our wedding with all of you. If you haven't RSVPed yet, please do let us know if you're coming!
