Greetings!

Hello friends and family,

We are honored you will share in our special day. It most definitely is a highly anticipated event for us, and for everyone we have brought with us along the way.

We're lucky to already have a ton of stuff we have collected together after almost 7 YEARS of dating, so please enjoy browsing this wish list, where you can contribute to our dream honeymoon!

Adventurers at heart, Everett and I got a taste of travel during our 4 and a half week European escapade after we graduated college last year. We couldn't imagine doing a honeymoon that didn't include a little adventure. We will be in Thailand for 12 nights, visiting three cities. We will be enjoying all the sites, food and culture. Look at the description above and click "more" if you'd like to see the honeymoon we're planning to take.

Thanks for visiting and we can't wait to see you on our big day!

Thailand

Getting there:

We will be traveling the day after our wedding from DFW to Dubai. In Dubai, we have a 10 hour layover in the middle of the day! We plan on visiting the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai mall, and making it over to the palm tree islands for sunset. From Dubai, we will fly into Bangkok to begin our Thai Honeymoon!

Bangkok:

Our first two nights will be in Bangkok, getting our first taste of the busy city life in Thailand. We are staying at a boutique style hotel with only 24 rooms! Although plans aren't confirmed, we want to visit a few of the popular temples, eat the amazing street food, and enjoy a few drinks at some of the 65th floor bars in downtown Bangkok.

Chiang Mai:

We fly into Chiang Mai the next morning and will spend 4 relaxing nights in a culture-filled town surrounded by jungle and mountains. We will visit the Elephant nature park here, take a Thai cooking class, visit the floating Saturday night market, as well as excursions to waterfalls, rice paddies and temples tucked away in the mountains. We've been warned that the food in Chiang Mai cannot be beat by any other Thailand city!

Koh Lanta:

After our mountain/ jungle city adventures, we take it down a few notches to enjoy the white sand beaches that Thai islands have to offer. We were drawn to Koh Lanta for its quiet nature, while also being in close proximity to the more popular island destinations accessible by speedboat. Getting here is quite the journey! Plane, bus, speedboat and taxis will all be utilized to get to our island destination. Everett and I are SO EXCITED to finally get scuba certified this August so that we can enjoy the Andaman Sea (and maybe even be lucky enough to spot a whale shark.) Scuba diving will most definitely occupy one of our days in paradise. Noteable islands that we plan on hopping to are Koh Phi Phi (our man Leo shot a movie here), Ko Khao Phing Kan (fondly known as James Bond island), and other more remote and private islands. Railay beach is a beautiful oasis located on our island, but has to be accessed by boat due to the towering cliffs surrounding the quiet white sand beach. A stop here is most definitely in our itinerary.

Getting home:

We fly into Bangkok and have one more day and night in the big city before departing Thailand to fly back to Texas and begin married life together in the real world!
