"For nearly a year my lovely Aunt Katonya was dying for me to meet her coworker friend, Valencia. She felt that we would have fun together being that Me and Val were both fun loving people with very similar upbringings ! However, we never thought much of it and continued right on living life, dating, and adventuring through life single and mingling. It wasn't until Katonya's daughter (my cousin Dewonne) was going away to college that Me and Val were finally in the same room. We both mixed and mingled with family and friends all night long but at separate ends of the table.

Finally, I messaged my aunt and asked "Is that her?" Katonya confirmed that it was. And being the suave gentleman that I am, I approached Val at the other end of the table. I introduced myself and we began to chat. In the middle of the conversation Val received an important phone call and had to step out. As soon as she returned, I announced that I was leaving but would love the opportunity to take her out to dinner sometime. Val agreed and a week later I asked her out on our first date! And from that day to this one we have been together...enjoy life and planning our future together!"
