Hello friends and family,

Update: Yes the wedding has come and gone and oh, what a wonderful time it was!! As with all things, the fun flies by, but often the expenses linger and that is where we find ourselves. We are so very grateful for any, and all gifts before, during, and just as much so, after the event. Dad and my son were able to walk me down the aisle where my best friend awaited our vows performed by my sister. It was amazing! Thank you all again!!

We have an unusual request, but one that is near and dear to our hearts. Most of you know my (Wendy's) dad is battling Pancreatic cancer and time is precious. Therefore, we have made the decision to hold a small, private family ceremony near my hometown of Vinton, by securing a mountain view rental nearby. This way my sister in Texas can come in to officiate the ceremony; my son can come in from South Carolina, and 2 of my very dear friends (who happen to be the matron of honor and the wedding photographer, and more like sisters by God's grace), can all come together for a few days to celebrate the nuptials, and spend time with my dad in a peaceful setting.
