If you are looking for a ride from the ferry to the wedding location this is the Taxi Service. His name is Terry Mullan and be sure to let him know that you are wedding guests of the Johns-Susol wedding 360-298-8414. Try and let us know ahead time what ferry you’re trying to catch so that we can give him a heads up please.

Before you get to the ferry landing bring lots of food and water because with the ferry delays nobody knows how long you will be waiting. Some have been saying they’ve been up to a half an hour late but others have been saying it’s been later than that at times.

NO MATTER WHAT you have to be at the ferry BOTH 45 minutes to an hour before your ferry is SCHEDULED to depart from Anacortes. And even earlier than that if you don’t have a reservation but now that it’s summer you should have a reservation. If you do not make it in time and the standby lanes are full there is the option to park your car and walk on.

Try to get on an early ferry since these ferries are so late. That way you know for sure you will be here in time for the wedding! ♥️

Okay! Yesterday was the day that we needed to have all of our RSVP’s in by so it would be very helpful if you have not yet given a yes or no answer to comment below to let us know. This is very crucial so we know how many items we need to order for example cupcakes, chairs, and food.

Thank you for letting us know!! We hope to see you there!

If you are coming to Orcas for the wedding I would not recommend taking a ferry that is cutting it too close to the wedding time because the ferries are running a good 30 minutes to an hour late every day and it does not seem like that is going to change until summer ends most likely. I would recommend taking a morning ferry. We can’t wait to see you guys!! Don’t forget ferry reservations are a must! See you in 42 days!

The summer ferry schedule is available!!! I would do everything you can to try and make a reservation as soon as possible for the day that you are coming to Orcas for the wedding and the day you are leaving!!!! And do not forget to make a reservation if you are staying overnight. Don’t forget there are state parks that you can camp at as well if you want to go that route!!

It looks like the latest ferry going back to anacortes is 10:50 so if you are wanting to get back to anacortes the same night it seems like a possibility just don’t forget you need to be at the ferry 45-60 minutes before departure to redeem your reservation.

We can’t wait to see everybody at the wedding!!!!!

We just wanted to let you know that ferry reservations become available at different times.

30% comes out 2 months before the day you want to come over to Orcas Island at 7 a.m.

Another 30% becomes available 2 weeks before the day that you want to come over at 7 a.m.

Another 30% becomes available 2 days before the day you want to come at 7 a.m.

The other 10% available is for drive ons that do not have a ferry reservation so it may not be a possibility for you to get on if you take that chance.

Walking on is another possibility and then you can call the taxi company to get to the wedding location.

There will be a parking lot available across the street from the wedding location to those who drive on.

Make sure to make a reservation for resturning to Anacortes as well.

Do not forget to make hotel reservations as soon as possible!! camping is another option if you are into that!!

We are so excited to see everyone!!

This page will also help guests find a place to stay for the wedding and there is a link to the ferry website so that you can make a reservation which is required if you want to make 100% sure that you will get on. There is also the option to walk-on. You still need to pay to park your car though as well.
