Greetings!

Friends and Family of Mason + Rachel,

Our story begins in the summer of 2015 when Mason decided that his solo-planned music festival would be better with a partner and after he took the initiative to purchase Rachel’s ticket, off we went to Mulberry Mountain, Arkansas for a weekend spent lying in the sun and watching the stages come alive with lights and music. Little did we know, that was just the beginning; from that summer forward, we reveled in spending as much of our last semesters of college together as possible. After graduation, we embarked on our next adventure of moving to Baton Rouge, where we found ourselves bartending until the early morning hours on Third Street and saving every penny we could for our ultimate goal of heading west to Colorado. To our utter disbelief, this dream became reality when we left Louisiana in April of 2018, and we haven’t looked back. Despite the hardships of living cross-country, our life in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains has brought us immeasurable joy over the last three years...which brings us to September 16th, 2021.

We left out of our beloved Fort Collins on a Thursday for a secret road trip across the state. Stopping for a few days in Salida to stay on a sustainable homestead, sleeping in a yurt and visiting hot springs + breweries, followed by a short-but-sweet stay in a glass cabin sitting on 35 acres of secluded, picturesque scenery of the San Juan Mountain range. All of which lead us to our 2 AM wakeup alarm on the morning of Monday, September 20th, followed by a 3-mile hike that included 1,500 feet in elevation gain, both of our packs busting at the seams with hiking gear, our wedding attire, florals for us and Kaia, and of course, celebratory champagne. In the crisp autumn air, as daylight began to light up the surrounding peaks and the fog began to lift, we had our first look overlooking the most unbelievable alpine lake. After taking time to wander our venue and welcome the warming sun, at approximately 7:30 AM MST, we exchanged vows in a private ceremony witnessed only by Miss Kaia Pup.

While our marriage may have begun in private, we wouldn't be where we are without our incredible support systems. We held all of our loved ones close to our hearts as we committed ourselves to a life together, and we are overjoyed to celebrate with y'all in February. The bride and groom will be in their original wedding day attire, so come help us dance the night away as if we had just said I Do! Suggested attire is cocktail but make it comfortable- leave the heels and ties/coats at home (if you choose to) and wear something you’ll have fun in! As we work to ensure the safety of all of our guests, hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the venue, and masks will be provided if one chooses. Covid-19 vaccinations are kindly encouraged for all guests, and if you will be initiating a vaccination series prior to our event, we ask that you receive your final dose before February 1st. The bride and groom thank you in advance for helping us keep our loved ones healthy. An RSVP/Contact link can be found below to let us know whether you'll be attending, and we hope to see you there!

Finally, in September of 2022 as a dual celebration of our honeymoon and our one year wedding anniversary, the newlyweds will be heading farther west than we've ever been… all of the way to Alaska: The Last Frontier! Upon flying into Anchorage, we intend to make our way across the southeast towards the Kenai Peninsula in search of glaciers, arctic wildlife, northern lights, and all of the endless beauty Alaskan autumn has to offer in celebration of our continued love for each other. As the newlyweds both value experiences together over everyday items, please view our honeymoon registry below if you feel so inclined, and help us make our trip truly one of a lifetime! Sending all of our love and more - xoxo, Mase + Rach
