Surprise. WE GOT MARRIED.

First, we created this site just because as we started to tell folks, we were asked multiple times how to get us gifts. We in no way anticipated receiving gifts, and we really don't need any, so we decided to set up a fund for an upcoming Europe trip (pending COVID-19's behavior). That trip, since then, has had to be canceled thanks to the Omicron variant, but we're still going to be going Northeast for a road trip!

Here's the story:

So, on September 3, 2021, we decided at 3:00pm that we would go to Vegas...by car...with our dogs...to get married. So, we did. That night, we slept at a truck stop outside Little Rock, and the next night, we upgraded to a hotel in Downtown Las Vegas.

On September 5th, we tied the knot. In my Subaru. With our dogs in the backseat. Our wedding cake was a Little Debbie Unicorn Cake (strawberry flavored), and our dogs wore harnesses with gold wings on them.

We then drove back, and after spending another night at a truck stop (this time in Amarillo), we arrived back in Nashville at 8:00pm.

75 hours total. In the most Tanner and Austin fashion.

Then, we returned December 3, did a wedding photoshoot and a vow renewal on the 4th, and flew back on the 5th. A total of 37 hours.

So two Vegas trips, 112 hours later, we're married!
