We are honored you will share in our special day. Your presence is our gift and we are fortunate to already have a life together full of everything we need. However, at the bidding of those who shall remain unnamed, we've put together a way for you to give by making our honeymoon perfect (and a bit unconventional, like us).

We will be in the Chelsea Parade Historic District. The house offers a well-stocked library, tennis court, ping pong and pool tables, plus plenty of space to chill both indoors and out. We will plan some entertainment and activities on both Saturday and Sunday and hope you will join us. So far, we've planned a hoop demo/lesson (by Nellie, the best hooper in the world) and a cookout for Saturday, then we'll have the wedding followed by brunch and a drum circle on Sunday, plus Rani is creating a scavenger hunt to fill your downtime. However, if you need to get away, we'll understand and there is plenty to do in the area, so feel free to explore! We have the whole estate from Aug 3-6, and it's a good home base from which to experience the area for all the out of towners.
If you want to take a short trip, the Slater Art Museum and Mohegan Park are with a couple of blocks away. Another nearby attraction is the Leffingwell Inn and Museum, a historic house depicting colonial life in the surrounding area. Go-karts and Mohegan Sun Casino are just a short drive and there are 6 golf courses within 30 minutes.
We'll be 20 minutes from New London and 30 minutes from Mystic, each of which offer fun maritime themed activities, such as submarine and boat tours, historic villages, and an aquarium.
Essex Steam Train and Riverboat are approximately 30 minutes away, featuring schooner tours of the area that depart from the riverboat platform. The Connecticut River Museum and Pratt House are also located there.
Additionally, you'll find a great children’s museum and the Book Barn of used books in Niantic, about 35 minutes away. Westbrook and Clinton outlet malls are just a bit south of Niantic.
No matter how you choose to spend your time, we hope this weekend in Norwich provides an enjoyable getaway you won't forget anytime soon!

Only 3 weeks to go and it seems like we have so much left to do!
We've booked CK's Drum Shop to do a Djembe drum circle at the reception and you are all expected to participate! It's going to be great. Maybe Arya will show off her percussionist skills. :-)

We've booked the venue! Which happens to be a mansion with lots of space and we booked it Aug 3-6, so there is plenty of room and time for us to enjoy the weekend with everyone!
