Friends and Family,

We anguished a lot over what to do about gifts. We are not 18. We have an apartment and we have stuff. We try to be conscious of how lucky we already are and how THINGS don't make a life. They really don't. It's people, relationships, love, conversation. Mostly it's experiences felt with the ones you love that will remain important and lodged in memory forever.

You are our community. And we value your love and support as we embark upon this journey of growth, partnership and love. You don't need to give us a gift at all. Really. Your love, energy, prayer, hope - whatever it is you have to give - is enough for us. But sometimes you want to give a gift. We know and appreciate that. We love giving loved ones gifts. It feels good!

We'd love to get away for a bit. And if you'd like to help us do that, we will humbly accept your help. We're busy and unorganized. So we don't yet have a plan. If you'd like to contribute to some memories for us, this is one way to do it.
