We are planning on relaxing together for a few days following the wedding, probably somewhere in South Florida, before we return to real life in New York. We do dream of a more elaborate honeymoon adventure, perhaps to celebrate our one year anniversary.
There has been talk of India or Japan. We have always wanted to experience the food, textiles, colors, and richness of India, and this seems like a place that we should go while we still have the energy! Japan has also been a dream destination since we started dating. Japan's history of thoughtful design in the home, in architecture and in technology is so exciting to us!
Planning a wedding (even a small one) is a big job, and we want to be sure that we have the time to focus on planning a big trip like this in order to appreciate every aspect of it.
