Hi Friends and Family!

 

As you know, we decided to elope in Kenya on February 20, 2017. East Africa has held our hearts since the beginning of our relationship, so we felt the best place to make our relationship official would be on the land that changed our lives once before.

 

We did miss everyone that could not be with us, so we are so excited that our dear friend are throwing a reception for us, and we would be thrilled if you could join us. There is so much to celebrate!

 

We can't wait to see you soon, and we are beyond grateful for the role you have played in our lives separately and as a now married couple.

Namibia, South Africa

On Christmas Day, we will head back to the continent that we love so much, but we will be exploring a new area!

 

To start our honeymoon, we will head to Cape Town, South Africa where we will take in the beautiful scenery, enjoy the beaches, and visit Nelson Mandela's prison site (because we can't help it).

 

After a few days there, we will head to Stellenbosch where we will stay at the coolest hotel in the middle of a wine vineyard!

 

On New Year's Day, we will make our way north to the Namib Desert. The coast of Namibia is a Dark Sky Conservancy, so there are light laws that lend way to the most incredible star gazing. Our hotel is literally a desert oasis.

 

Once we are done with the stars, we will move north again to the Etosha Pan, where we will enjoy safari for a few days. Safari is our favorite.

 

Safari will conclude our AMAZING honeymoon, and we will go back to Johannesburg to head home.
