Wedding Day: We look forward to seeing you all! Below are some of our favorite places in Kansas City.
The reception is about 5.5 miles from the church (11-15 minute drive). The closest hotels are about 10-15 minutes form the reception and we have booked a block of rooms at 816 Hotel (below), a few minutes from the church.
Tour of Alexander Majors House: The house directly in front of our reception barn will be open for complimentary tours from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm the day of the wedding. Our cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 pm.
WHERE TO STAY: Plaza or Westport area (Midtown)

Events:
First Friday - Our wedding falls on the first weekend of the month which is a big deal in Kansas City! Downtown (Crossroads) has open art galleries, the street is blocked off and there is food and entertainment.
First Saturday and Sunday – This is a big weekend for antique shopping in our warehouse district, the West Bottoms. There is food, music and endless warehouses filled with antiques.
