Hey everyone! I wanted to be open about a struggle I'm facing right now to see if anyone can help out. I'm trying to apply for US residency and the fees are very large (around $2,000). Sam and I have saved a lot but we have fallen short by about $1,000. To make things more difficult; my current work permit has expired so I no longer have an income. Sam and I are working as hard as possible to survive but having one income and ridiculous expenses is very hard to manage. I am not asking for anyone to help us pay bills as that is our expense alone, but I am asking for help to raise some money for my application. The sooner I get it in the sooner I can get back to work. Right now I will probably have to wait 7 months before I can work again so I would like to get this application in as soon as possible. The longer I wait I risk more time out of work and also potential deportation. If you have a spare couple of bucks and are willing to help us out it would mean the WORLD to us.
