Hi everyone! Thank you for coming to celebrate us on our special day. After being together for nearly a decade, we realized we have more than enough of your traditional household items. So we thought no better gift (other than yourselves) than the gift of experience and travel.

We'll be spending our Honeymoon in Italy! For nearly three weeks we'll start our trip by flying from Boston to Genoa, Italy. We head out a few days after we get married.

First step is the ferry from Genoa to Cique Terre. This is a region within Italy's National Park system made of a string of five coastal villages, You can either hike, boat, or train through the five - and we plan to do all of the above. We're hoping to eat copious amounts of fresh seafood and learn how to make fresh pesto, foccatia bread, and many other italian dishes. Renting kayaks is definitely on our list, as well as hitting a few of the coastal wineries as we hike the park's Blue Trail. Nearly all the towns are situated on cliffs by the ocean, so we'll be traveling by foot the entire time. We plan to be here for about a week, hopping from town to town.

By this point we've seen our fair share of the ocean, so we thought it was time to take it inland. We'll grab a rental car from Cinque Terre, and head to the fields and farms of Tuscany. We plan to hit the country side, stay in bed & breakfasts, explore olive oil farms, cheese tours (Pecorino!) and enjoy many Italian wines and wineries. We're particularly excited about this region of Italy, so we'll be spending the remainder of our honeymoon in Tuscany. Our last two nights are in Florence before our flight back to Boston.
