We will be taking a two week adventure around Greece! We leave the night after our wedding for our flight to Athens and then island hop from Mykonos to Santorini to Naxos and back to Athens. We are SO excited for this trip for many reasons. It is a dream destination for both Arielle and Alex.
For Alex, this has been a childhood dream! He was an avid reader of Greek mythology as a child and had planned to go with his grandparents to the islands for his Bar Mitzvah present. Due to terrorism in the area at the time, they were not able to make the trip :(. Sixteen years later, this will be fulfilling a childhood dream with the love of his life!
For Arielle, this dream has dated back to four weeks ago when researching honeymoon locations. (She just loves the beach & Mediterranean). But seriously, many of Arielle's friends and family from Israel have traveled to the Greek islands, upping her interest in visiting them.
We thought this Honeyfund would be a great way for us to share our amazing start to our life together with you! We also have some ways to contribute to each of our favorite charities, Big Brothers Big Sisters and ESRA.
