We will be flying from DFW to Barcelona, spending our first 2 nights in Barcelona where we will visit the Sagrada Familia, do a Tapas cooking class, and visit the wine region. High speed train from Barcelona to Madrid for 2 nights. We get to see the Museo de Arte Reina Sofia nicknamed the "MOMA" of Madrid. The greatest repository of 20th-century art in Spain. Special emphasis is paid to the great artists of 20th-century Spain: Juan Gris, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, and Pablo Picasso. Following that, we take another high speed train for 2 nights in beautiful Sevilla. In the evening, we will enjoy an authentic Flamenco Show in Sevilla's Old Quarter. The next day we get to explore the wonderful interiors and gardens of the Royal Alcazar. After that, we fly to Lisbon, Portugal, the city of light. Which includes a Fado concert, and a visit to the magic and mystique that emanates from the palaces of Sintra. We will finish our trip in classic Wittenberg fashion with a flight back to Barcelona for a local guided brewery tour followed by a romantic dinner in the Barcelona Gothic Quarter.
