For our honeymoon we will be traveling to the Land of the Rising Sun. To celebrate our union, we wanted to explore a country that is as adventurous, fun and unique as we are. Two weeks in this planet's most interesting place almost seems too short!

We will be flying in to Tokyo- experiencing all that one of the most intense urban areas in the world has to offer. Food, entertainment, fashion and lights abound!

Then it is off to the scenic, mountainous areas of Hakone, Mount Fuji, Mount Koya and the rustic traditional setting of Shirakagawo & Gokayama. Traditional Japanese Inns (ryokan) and hot springs (onsen) dot our travel path as we wind our way from one autumnal-adorned temple to another.

Our honeymoon concludes in the brilliant neon of the party-driven Osaka and the bucolic, history-rich pathways in Kyoto.

This eclectic adventure is highlighted by a trip to a world record-setting Japanese amusement park (Fuji-Q), the most expansive aquarium in all of Japan (Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan), a sweeping outdoor art museum with interactive sculptures (Hakone Open Air Museum), interaction with crazy wildlife (Monkey Park in Kyoto) and some of the best Sushi and food in existence (Sushi Bar Yasuda and Sukiyabashi Jiro).

As you all may know, this is far from a cheap travel experience- but, nevertheless, one that will be remembered for a lifetime.
