We are honored to invite you to share in our special day at Duart Castle. Your presence is our gift! The Inner Hebrides in Scotland is a beautiful, peaceful land, with loads of history. We are thrilled to invite you to share with us our celebration of life together in such an incredible, sentimental place.
It all started with a math problem. In 2009, Stephanie and Dan both attended Montgomery College, where Dan worked part-time as a math tutor at the Math-Science center. When Stephanie signed up her name for other math tutors, Dan would ask them if he could help her instead. Not long after, they started eating lunch together, and the rest was history!
Why Duart Castle?
Duart Castle is the seat of the Clan Maclean, and the ancient, ancestral home of Dan's ancestors through Sir Lachlan Mor Maclean, the 14th clan chief. In August of 2018, Dan proposed to Stephanie while in the comfort of the chiefs personal drawing room inside the castle. In such a sentimental place, it is symbolic to make the vows of matrimony and love.

Tips for Staying in Mull:
- If you want to eat at a restaurant, call them ahead of time to make a reservation!
- For those with rental cars, be mindful that the main road is single-lane, with pull-off areas. It is kind to let someone pass you who wants to go faster.
- Stop by the Ledaig (pronounced "ley-chick") distillery in Tobermory, and impress the locals with your correct pronunciation! They have some of the finest whisky in Scotland.
