In the eight years we've spent together, we've never taken a solo trip. We're hoping that this trip sparks our travel bug so we can travel the world as a family.
While staying at an all inclusive resort is great, we wanted to be with the locals. Our goal is to immerse ourselves in culture and travel along the coast of the Caribbean. We'll be staying a few nights at Mun Tulum with a view of the jungle and Mayan Ruins. After that, we'll stay on the beach in Akumal for a night (and hopefully see some turtles lay their eggs at night!!) before making our way to Cancun to visit Isle Holbox and the pink lake.
We can't wait to relax on the beack, explore some ruins, swim in a cenote, and snorkle with turtles!
