My fiancé & I have postponed our wedding twice due to COVID, and a horrible ankle injury for myself needed it surgery and have to be off work for 6 months. We have no help paying for our wedding. We have been through so much as a couple, as individuals and as a family and this is all we have ever wanted. We both work 2 jobs and have 3 children. But working our two jobs is just about all we can afford to make ends meet anymore. We had no idea during planning our wedding the cost of living will almost triple. We both work so hard & put everyone’s needs above our own. We know brides family is suppose to pay for the wedding but my father passed away 3 years ago and my mom does not work due to a lot of health problems. We aren’t asking for a pitty party or a lecture and I know this wedding doesn’t need to happen but we just need help. Two of the most important people in my life will not be able to attend my wedding my father who has passed and my little brother who is in an assisted living due to him having Muscular Dystrophy. We both would give anyone the shirt off our backs to help anyone. So this time for just once we are asking for help.
