In November, if travel restrictions permit us, we'd love to fulfil last year's honeymoon plans of a visit to South Africa and Mauritius.

Greetings!

Thank you all so much for your support during what has been a tough year for all.

 

Now we've been given the go ahead for 50 guests (with restrictions) on May 1st, there are a few important bits information we want to highlight to you.

 

The wedding is being held at the Glen Clova Hotel, Angus. The ceremony is at 2pm in Clova Kirk (less than 100 metres from the hotel).

 

There are still social distancing guidelines in place so please remember to bring a face mask. As things currently stand, face masks will need to be worn while inside the hotel and Kirk during the entirety of the ceremony. These can be removed when outside and during the meal.

Alcohol is now permitted but only via table service currently.

The hotel are still finalising the running order of the day and remaining restrictions; we will add these here when we have confirmation of what you can expect.

14:00 - Ceremony at Clova Kirk

14:45 - Drinks Reception & Canapés

17:00 - Speeches & Meal

19:30 - Cake Cutting & Evening Reception

21:00 - Tea, Coffee & Nibbles

21:30 - Last Orders

22:00 - Finish

 

Those of you who know us well will know we have been together for 10 years and lived together for around 7 of those, so we already have everything we need going into the next stage of our lives.

 

We ask that if you do wish to give us a gift that you might consider contributing to our honeymoon fund listed below, but please don't feel obliged to, we just look forward to having you there on the day.

Served with a crispy poached egg and dressed watercress

Cranachan Cheesecake
Served with a light whisky cream with a forest fruit compote and a sweet oatcake base

Sticky Toffee Pudding
Served with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.
