Hey Everyone!
We know, you all are thinking "what's this Honeyfund thing?" Well, since we are both in our 30s, we don't really need anything that would be on a traditional wedding registry. Let's be real, how many blenders does a couple need? So instead of signing up with a store to just get doubles or triples of things we already have we are asking our friends and family to kick in for the wedding and honeymoon. Every little bit helps, so if all you can give is $5 that will be super helpful.
We are trying to do this on a budget of $8,000. $5,000 for the wedding and $3,000 for the honeymoon. If we receive anything extra it will go towards any unexpected costs (and there always are) and to upgrading the honeymoon.

Thank you everyone who donated to the wedding. Every little bit helped. Thanks to you we raised $2,108 here on the Honeyfund and roughly another $1,000 in cash at (and immediately prior to) the wedding. That doesn't include all the help that went into this last year leading up to May 7th, like the crafting of the flowers, the wedding dress direct donation, and the putting together of the bridal shower and bachelor/bachelorette parties.
We haven't gone over the final number yet but it's looking like we hit just under $10,000 for everything (wedding. honeymoon, rehearsal, ect). Your collective $3,000 helped tremendously towards the final cost. Thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts.

Hey everyone,
Thanks to all of you we are only $200 shy of paying off the wedding. Since we have 5 weeks left, and we're so close to making this happen, we've updated some of the gifting and added things we would like for the honeymoon. Hi everybody!
We hope ya'll had a great Christmas and New Year's. Max and I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have helped to make this happen and though ya'll might want to know what you're helping us pay for.
Venue and Food: $2,318.
Flowers: $155. Lurking for sales on silk flowers plus Nirma (hiiiii Nirma!) putting together the bouquets helped us save BIG on what friends are paying in the thousands for at their weddings.
Cake: $300
Dress: $1,500. I only payed $500. Thank you Kate for gifting the other $1000 for the dress.
Photography: $450
Music: $475. Thank you Marsha for the holiday gift of covering this.
Honeymoon Cruise: $1,932
There are a handful of other things, mostly incidentals here and there, but those are the big ones.
Again, thank you all for helping out. You are greatly appreciated and we love you.

Hey everyone!
I know it is about 6 weeks late (life got a bit hectic there) but I want to say thank you to D. Turner for his donation to the HoneyFund and a HUGE thank you to Kate and James Owens for footing the bill for 2/3s of the wedding dress. It is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Hey everyone,
We have a venue for the ceremony and reception booked. It is at The Hilltop Club in Orange Park, FL. The Hilltop is a beautiful historic building with a lot of charm.
The ceremony will be held out by their koi pool area and the reception in their Garden Room overlooking the koi pool. And the food will be a TACO BAR!!!!
You may have noticed that we changed the day from May 5th, 2017 to May 7th, 2017. That is because if we have the wedding on a Sunday instead of a Friday or Saturday we get a discount. How cool is that?

Hello,
If you clicked on our Honeyfund then thanks! I know the site is looking pretty bare, and our wedding is about a year and a half out (Cinco de Mayo 2017) but we want to get the venue on lock as soon as possible. We are looking at The Hilltop http://www.hilltop-club.com/
to accommodate about 100 guests. Any early money tossed our way to help secure the venue is greatly appreciated.
