Israel

We are so excited that we have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Israel later this year. It has always been a bucket list of ours to visit where the foundation of our faith took it's stronghold. We will embark on a 10 day journey to many places throughout Israel. Here is brief itinerary of our trip....

Our first day in the Holy Land we visit Jaffa which has been known in the Bible as Joppa and where Jonah set sail for Tarshish.

Day 2 includes visit to Caesarea followed by Nazareth, the home of Joseph and Mary to Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first miracle.

Day 3 involves a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and continue to Tabgha where Jesus fed the 5 thousand to Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his confession of faith to Jesus.

Day 4 we have the opportunity be baptized at Yardenit then followed by traveling through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, which is believed to be the world's oldest walled city.

Day 5 involves visiting the city of Massada which is the location of Herod's Palaces, then to Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. While there we will spend time relaxing by and in the Dead Sea.

Day 6 we embark to the Mt of Olives to view Jerusalem upon the hill followed by Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus spent the last night before his arrest.

Day 7 we spend time in Bethlehem, the birth place of Jesus.

Day 8 we visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum as well the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied his Lord 3 times.
