Honeymoon on hold...

For our safety we decided to delay our honeymoon till this global pandemic is completely over, and we can safely enjoy it to the fullest. Due to the uncertainty we will also not be picking a location till we are 100% sure it will be safe. We appreciate your generosity, and are definitely looking forward to escaping to enjoy our honeymoon as newlyweds.

Feel free to leave us ideas on places you'd suggest in the comments. Many of the places we originally were thinking of traveling to have been hit hard during this pandemic, and we may not be able to travel too anytime soon. We'd love to hear your stories! <3

Our lovestory...

Cara and Pheakra met through their mutual group of friends. They were merely acquaintances when Pheakra was stationed over seas during his five years as a marine. During that time Cara became completely integrated into his close group of friends. They began to really get to know each other and become friends when Pheakra moved back to Sacramento. There was definitely a connection from the beginning; however, they would not end up together till much later.

When they first started to get to know each other, Pheakra stuck by Cara's side through some of the most difficult moments of her life, and really showed her what a loving dedicated man he was. The night before Cara's mom passed away, Pheakra asked Cara if he could meet her mom, who he had never met. Cara was very hesitant to allow him to see her mom in the condition she was in, but she agreed to let him into the hospital room. When Pheakra entered the hospital room, he walked straight over to Cara's moms bedside, and took her hands in his. Although she was in a medically induced coma, he didn't skip a beat and introduced himself to her. "Hello Dana, I'm Pheakra. Im happy Im able to meet you. I like your daughter very much, and I promise I'll take care of her." Cara was shocked and completely in awe. Although it took many more months for them to get together, this is the moment Cara fell in love with Pheakra.

By December 2016 they bought a home together, and were engaged by January 2018. Over the last five years they have become each others unwavering pillars of support, and adventure partners. They are looking forward to celebrating their love in September with their closest family and friends.
