Hello friends and family,

Contrary to what this page may suggest, I'm not marrying my mother! As you know, mum is currently trying to get home from a trip to USA where unfortunately she spent the entire trip either fleeing hurricanes or on lockdown in hotel rooms (with the odd burst tyre and empty supermarket thrown in to keep her on her toes in true Lindsey style!) This was her 60th birthday present to herself and something she has saved for for a long time. As many of you will be aware, mum gives everything she has both emotionally and materially to all those around her, so this was a real rare treat and we were all so pleased she was doing something for herself. Being that she missed out on her break (and certainly needed it!) I want to try and get some money together to be able to send her on a spa weekend or mini break so that she can have time to relax after all! No pressure at all to donate, but if you fancy contributing anything however small that would be lovely! :)
