Our Favorite Things in Starved Rock Country:
-Hike up to Eagle Cliff, Lover’s Leap, and Starved Rock to take in the incredible views!
-Hike into French Canyon, Wildcat Canyon, and St. Louis Canyon to experience the breathtaking waterfalls.
-Reserve a boat rental at Starved Rock Marina or Heritage Harbor and cruise the Illinois River.
-Relax and enjoy a glass of wine at August Hill Winery in downtown Utica.
-Grab a cold one and a delicious lunch at the Backdoor Lounge in Starved Rock Lodge. (If it’s nice outside, grab a table on the veranda overlooking the park!)
-Taste some of the only authentic Cajun fare in the North at Cajun Connection in Utica. (Don’t forget to say hello to Cajun Ron!)
