Hey everyone!

First, we would like to let all of you know that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be a part of our special day is something that we truly appreciate and we are truly excited to make so many great memories at our wedding.

Many of you have probably heard the story of how we met (both versions... you can decide which one you believe). For those who haven't heard the story here is a brief summary. In June of 2014 we met on the lawn of the amphitheater in Virginia Beach at a Luke Bryan concert. A week later we went out for the first time, drinks at Gordon Biersch after work (that is another story!). Kevin left the next day for a weeklong family vacation in Branson. He came home for a couple of weeks, we went on a couple more dates and then he left for China for most of the month of July.

In August we took our first trip together, to Washington, D.C. for my 30th birthday. This was the beginning of our many travels. In the past 2 and a half years we have traveled from Key West to Ohio, Nashville to Cancun. In June of 2016 we took a trip to Amsterdam as part of my Master's program. We decided to make a vacation of the trip and headed to Barcelona for 5 days first (thanks, Amanda!). Kevin proposed on our first night in Barcelona on the rooftop of our hotel (another story!!). I was so surprised I couldn't say I was engaged for about 2 days! It was such a memorable vacation and we are so thankful that we will be able to take a once in a lifetime trip to begin our married life together!

We settled on a honeymoon registry because we already have many of the "essential" home items (ask Kevin about my kitchen gadgets!) and we thought this would a great way to create a once in a lifetime trip and a lifetime of memories! Don't worry, for the traditionalists in the crowd we have also included a traditional registry!

We're not big on Facebook, but we will do our best to document this experience and include some fantastic photos in your thank you notes.
