Hello friends and family,

We did it! After a whirlwind Spain-US relationship, Ton and I tied the knot on December 28th at Muckross Abbey in Killarney, Ireland.

As many of you have heard my tales of vacation love, Ton and I met during an impromptu trip to Spain when I traveled there to meet my friend for “coffee”. Through serendipitous events that led us to a late night local hard rock bar, Ton and I struck up a long conversation, took a magical walk at dawn, and have spent the last 2.5 years navigating geography, fears, and life.

For this lover of all things medieval and European, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have married my dream man (who just so happens to be European) in a 15th century Abbey. Our next goal is to one day make a home together in Europe to be near Ton's young daughter. Until then, we will be commuting between Spain and California.

Many of you have asked what we need. To that, the honest answer is: We need time together. We have all the worldly possessions we need so, our hope is to spend as much time together as we can until I can secure a job abroad.
