Hello friends and family,

We feel honoured that you're coming to watch us get married, especially if you're making the long, arduous trek north. Just attending, paying for hotels, outfits etc has probably already cost you more than you'd like and we're extremely grateful you've been able to make it.

Ruth and I are starting our married life in slightly unusual circumstances - we're lucky enough to already have a home full of everything we need (and more, truth be told). This, coupled with the fact that we're aware just attending may have already cost you an arm and a leg, means that we think your presence on our wedding day is gift enough.

If you're keen though, we won't say no to stuff from this wish list which involves contributing to our dream honeymoon!

We're going to Southern France and Northern Spain, partly because we've both always wanted to go and explore the areas around the Pyrenees and partly because at the time of the wedding Ruth will be too pregnant to fly. It's going to be amazing, and we really can't wait - we've never actually spent that long in each other's company without the boys being present and anything you can do to make the experience *even better* (nervous laugh) would be most gratefully received.
