We're planning a winter adventure!
Matt is an excellent skier and Meagan...well...she is enthusiastic. But we both enjoy trains and adventures and a grand aprés ski. So for our honeymoon we've decided to go on a winter wonderland vacation by rail hosted by our neighbors to the north - 9 days through the Canadian Rockies.
We'll start the tour in the pacific northwest (familiar territory for both of us) with 2 nights in Vancouver. From Vancouver, we plan to board the VIA Rail overnight through the Rockies to Jasper. From there on its all snow all the time: skiing, ice tours and (hopefully) a sled dog tour in beautiful Lake Louise and Banff. After we are thoroughly exhausted we'll fly home from Calgary.
