We have decided to take this step, even during COVID because we understand that life doesn't stop when we are thrown a curveball. We gotta keep moving. Mainly, we want to keep moving closer to each other, but since there's no other possible way to be physically closer we decided to do the grown up thing and take each other's last names.
As with everything else in our life, we took a good amount of time overthinking, but decided to stay true to ourselves with a very small celebration. Originally the plan was to elope and in our way, we did. We are eloping all the craziness and hatred to celebrate our union and the beginning of a multiracial family. What better way to celebrate than in our own backyard with catering from our favorite place?
We hope that like us, y'all will understand that this is only celebrating love and each other.
