We are so excited to see you all on The Big Day. Your presence is our gift! But we know that you're a thoughtful and generous bunch who might really like to help us set up our life together so here are a few items that would help make our new little house in Lancaster into a home.

How does a Charity Shop Gift Registery work?

-You choose an item from the list and follow the payment options (paypal, card, bank transfer or cash). Unfortunately, the website has a £10 minimum total payment. If you want to make a total payment less than £10, contact us and we'll sort that out.

-We will enjoy rummaging through the charity shops of Lancashire and finding the hidden gem of a gift that you've selected

-When we find it, we'll send you a picture of your lovely gift

Why a Charity Shop Gift Registery?

As you may know, we like to spout nonsense about the evils of consumerism and the fundamental decay of late stage capitalism but really that's just an excuse for us to enjoy rummaging around British Heart Foundation on a saturday afternoon. We realise that Charity Shop Wedding Gifts is a bit of a whacky idea but hopefully it works relatively smoothly for you.

P.S. Obviously, the prices at Oxfam are a wee bit lower than John Lewis so you might find yourself spending slightly less than you'd expected. We know that some people feel strongly that they should give a particular amount as a wedding gift, so if you'd really like to make up the difference we would appreciate you supporting the Schiztosomaisis Control Initiative.
