When we considered a gift registry for our June 17 wedding, we quickly realized it wasn't really for us. Perhaps it's a consequence of marrying in middle age, but overall we're pretty set for...stuff. What we definitely don't get enough of, however, are travel opportunities. We're going to try to correct that.

Therefore, in lieu of gifts, please consider contributing funds to our dream honeymoon: a journey across the U.S. on as much of the Lincoln Highway that is accessible. You choose the dollar amount you're comfortable with; you don't have to lug a gift to our reception or pay shipping fees; and we get to enjoy unique experiences instead of more possessions.

We are planning our two-week honeymoon trip for September of this year.
