Greetings Family & Friends,

We hope you all are staying safe and that this message finds you well. As we venture further past our initial wedding date, we wanted to send this announcement out to update our guests. Being just days away from our celebration, and now approaching more months of uncertainty, we have made the difficult decision to postpone a ceremony and reception until further notice. We have a vision of what we wanted and are confident we will make that happen some day down the road. In the meantime, we just want to be able to move forward. We appreciate your understanding and the outpouring of support everyone has shown us. Above all else, we just want to make sure all of our loved ones are safe and healthy. We look forward to the day we all get to be together again and can celebrate our union. In the meantime, we will continue to keep this website active and update when possible.

Our Story (CliffNotes Version):

Back in the early days of social media, before Facebook and Instagram became the norm, Lisha and Bruce met on a little website called MySpace. Remember everyone's friend, Tom? Growing up one city apart (Bruce in San Marcos. Lisha in Vista) and having some shared friends, they'd eventually come to meet. Befriending each other through the platform, they got to chatting and eventually met up for some burritos at a local taco shop.

With Lisha still in high school at the time and Bruce just graduating high school, let's just say the fireworks had a very long fuse, but at least the spark was lit. Like most pre-dating app love stories, this one started with the two starting out as friends first. They would still occasionally chat and catch up over the years, but it wasn't until December, 2016 when the fuse would ignite the fire.

Shooting the breeze and catching up over a couple "cold ones" at Mother Earth Brewing, they began to realize that their friendship was blossoming into something more. The affection towards one another continued to grow and they would make time for each other as often as possible. Since that meeting, the two have been attached at the hip, and the best part about that... there's nowhere else in the world they'd rather be.
