Hello everyone! Thanks for visiting our wedding website!
Due to the last-minute nature of our "big day", haha, we are going to use this section for UPDATES!!
1) Where should I stay for the weekend?
Rancho Bernardo Inn is where we will be staying all weekend!
***As of 06/01: Our wedding room block is currently FULL :( Please note that you can still book a room at their current rate (they do give AAA discounts!!), but unless we hear otherwise, we will no longer be able to provide our special rate. We are so sorry!!
2) What time do I need to arrive at the Safari Park?
Anytime between 9:00am and 3:00pm, but plan on NO LATER than 3:00pm! There will be a 3:30pm Wedding Tram pick-up at CARAVAN OUTPOST, next to Ranger Base, which will take you directly to our ceremony site! (Ranger Base is a 5-10min walk from the entrance of the park, so please give yourself appropriate time to park, pick up your free safari park passes, enter, and walk to the tram pick-up spot. If you miss the tram, you will have to walk the entire park to get to our ceremony site, which will take ~45mins from the entrance of the park, so plan accordingly!)
3) How do I get into the Safari Park for free?
Each one of you will be on our special guest list, so they will know each of you by name!
9:00am - 3:00pm: pick up your ticket(s) at Will Call.
3:00pm & later: pick up your ticket(s) from the check-in table in front of the turnstiles.
**Please bring your ID to claim your safari park pass!
***If you decide to enter the park, leave, and then come back for the wedding, please SAVE YOUR TICKET!! (We won't be able to provide you with a new one!)
4) How should I get to the Safari Park?
Uber is the preferred method if you are coming just for the wedding, but you can also drive your car to the Safari Park and leave it overnight if you get too *tipsy*, haha-- please just let us know if this is your plan, so the park doesn't tow your car!! Each of our guests gets FREE parking with our special tickets, so we will be texting or emailing each of you with this special pass, but please just make sure to have this electronic parking pass accessible when you are at the safari park gate!

Saturday, July 7th, 2018:
-Fun at the Safari Park @ 9am!
...every one of our guests gets INTO THE PARK FOR FREE today-- our treat to you!! So, pretty please use your free tickets AND your free parking passes to their fullest extent!! This means that we do NOT need you to show up to the ceremony looking fancy-- or even "presentable"!-- we just want you to be there! That means that arriving in casual attire, sweating from all the awesome exercise that you did while roaming the park all day, will make us much more happy than seeing you arriving in your nicest suits and dresses! This is a safari after all-- it's about the experience, not how you look doing it!
-Wedding Tram @ 3:30pm, location: Caravan Outpost
...exclusively for our group, you can get a ride down to our ceremony location, by catching our tram at Caravan Outpost-- near Ranger Base-- which is a 5-10min walk from the entrance of the park.
-Ceremony @ 4:15pm, location: Harusi Lawn (near the cheetahs) ... if Mandy has to leave the animals to be there, so do you :) Please arrive to be seated between 4:00-4:15pm!!
-Cocktail Hour @ 5pm, location: Kijamii Overlook (near Roar & Snore) ...this gives us a little time to snap some shots, while you guys get to settle into our new panoramic backdrop with some Hors d'œuvres & drinks!
-Reception @ 5:45pm, location: Kijamii Overlook (same as Cocktail Hour)
...dinner, drinks, dancing, and a little surprise that everyone will enjoy!
-End @ 10pm, location: parking lot (w/ potential Rancho Bernardo Inn shuttle-- TBD)
...they'll kick us out of the park at 10pm, but no one can stop the after-party....details TBD!
Sunday, July 8th, 2018:
-"The Day After" brunch @ 11:30am, location: TBD
...we will need something to soak up all the fun from the previous night's festivities, so we would love to have as many of you as possible come to join us!
OR, if you are interested, we have also acquired a special "second-day" ticket rates for those extraordinary park enthusiasts who would like to get some more time at the Safari Park or the San Diego Zoo- which is about 45mins south of the Safari Park- near downtown San Diego. Please just text/call Mandy @ 209-495-7807 to get more information! To be clear, we will unfortunately not be there with you, but we would be thrilled to learn of your passion for wildlife, so please don't hesitate to ask!
For the areas that currently say "TBD", we are still working on securing those details, so they will be updated as soon as we know!
Lastly please, please, please use the Guestbook area (located below) to RSVP so that we can get a proper headcount. For those of you that are sadly not going to be able to make it out to celebrate, please let us know that, too, and we will miss you!!
