While we usually fly standby and decide on hotels as we board a flight, for the first time as a couple we have actually booked plane tickets and made hotel reservations before a trip. Come November, we will be heading off to the beautiful island of Taha'a in French Polynesia! Known as the vanilla island for its highly prized Tahitian vanilla orchid, Taha'a is a secluded tropical paradise within eyesight of Bora Bora. As opposed to our usual fast-paced trips full of sightseeing and subways, for our honeymoon, we really wanted time to relax and just enjoy being with each other in a spectacular place.
