Bali

We are starting our honeymoon off in Candidasa, a seaside town in eastern Bali that rests on the edge of a fresh water lagoon. It is a popular tourist stop and is often described as more sedate and laid back. Here we will visit famous temples, spend time soaking up the sun at the beach, and enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for two. Next we will move west to the uplands of Bali to the popular town of Ubud. Ubud is known as a center for traditional crafts and dance. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. We will spend most of our time here being adventurous, checking out the sites, riding horses on the beach, trekking up a volcano, and riding elephants! We are ending our trip on the southwestern tip of Bali in Uluwatu where we will enjoy scenic views of the Indian ocean from our private villa, sipping on drinks 14 meters above the ocean at the Rock Bar, and watching some of the best sunsets in Bali!
