Welcome to our wedding registry! We are honored to invite you alongside our journey. Your ongoing support through prayer and encouragement is our greatest gift, so thank you for this - and keep it coming!

The unique circumstances of how we met has made expressing our gift preferences fairly easy: less stuff and more help with travel! It’s been a lot of airports and hotel stays the past year, so anything we put toward this or our honeymoon is going to good use! : ) We are humbled to have such great friends and family in our corner, and we thank you for letting us share our lives with you.

How we met: The short version is that we met in Brazil at a weeklong conference called Power and Love. I had traveled to Brazil as a part of the ministry team from the US, and Larissa was leading worship at the same conference. I don’t think either of us had a clue what was in store for us that week. At some point, however, I would finally approach Lari to introduce myself (which is to say I blacked out and made no coherent statements), and we spent the remaining days scrounging for spare minutes to get to speak to one another. Those moments were few and far between. However, with a lot of favor from the key figures (and Lari’s family!), I was given their blessing to spend the last two hours of that week getting to know Lari, and she would see me off at the airport. As for what events would transpire next, let’s just say one of us acquired gold member status through American Airlines very quickly : ) Six months later, we got engaged standing at the same place where we first met, which is right where she sings down front at her church. What a wild ride!
