July 11 Update -

We are putting the final details and are very excited to see everybody who can come. We understand that some people can only stay for the ceremony and we would like to thank them for participating in our special day, even if they cannot stay for the reception.

COVID Update - We will have tables of 4 people to help with proper social distancing and three private areas, including two outdoors. The goal is to make people as comfortable as possible. We hope that with such an intimate group (about 35 people for the ceremony and about 25 people for the reception), everybody can feel safe and can enjoy the day. Crossing our fingers for great weather :)

June 29 update

The invitations are out! We’re very happy with what we have heard so far.
To alleviate concerns, we will have under 50 guests and plenty of outdoors and indoors space between the private dining room, the patio and the grounds. The staff will be minimal and observing health safety regulations.
We’re looking forward to a great time!

June 14th Update - The invitations are in the mail! They should be arriving to you shortly.

The situation has evolved positively so far in the Sodus Bay area. No new fatality since mid-May and the region is transitioning into phase 3. The Golf Club just hosted its annual men tournament this past weekend - a 200 person banquet and is about to host its first wedding.

Most restaurants on the bay have reopened for outside seating and limited inside seating in the past two weeks. There are mask restrictions for employees but not for patrons. The last two weekends had Sodus Point restaurants almost look like a regular summer. And the good news is that there is no uptick of cases so far.

Since we are a month and a half away from the wedding, we are optimistic that no new restriction will be imposed. It has only been 88 days since we left NYC when shelter in place was imposed and so much has improved since. And we are still 41 days away from the wedding - a lot of time to keep improving

May 25 Covid Update Part 2

Considering that our wedding will be relatively small and intimate, we are confident that we will be able to have it on 7/25 with only limited changes to our plans.

That said, we understand that some guests would rather avoid groups and completely understand if that is your situation.

We are actually planning to livestream the wedding, so family and friends, close and far, can still be part of this special day even if they cannot attend in person.

May 25 Covid Update Part 1

We were lucky to be able to leave the city on March 18 and we have been staying in Sodus since...a lot earlier than expected!

Thankfully, Wayne County has been spared from most of the horrors that this virus has caused back home in the city. We were the first part of New York State to start the phased in reopening on May 15th and life is slowly but surely restarting.

We have been to SBHC our venue, a few times in the past weeks. They are optimistic that they will be able to open for weddings with limited capacity soon. The golf course has already re-opened, so has the golf shop there and concessions. They are looking to open on June 15th with 25% capacity, and considering their capacity is huge, they can accommodate almost 80 people at that capacity. They are planning to have their first wedding there on June 18th.
