Online dating is typically sketchy at best, which is why I decided it probably wasn’t worth my time.

TikTok isn’t online dating, and people don’t just meet on TikTok and form a real relationship… except we did? We became mutuals and moved to Instagram so we could were funny gifs and such. We wound up on Discord, ended up chatting and video calling and next you knew I was meeting some stranger from the internet at the airport.

And they felt like home.

And they still feel like home.

It’s been around about three years and we’re “tying the knot” or whatever which I never seriously thought I’d be able to do with any sort of confidence.

Sometimes life throws your soulmate in your face and all you can do is say thank you ❤️
