Hello friends and family,

We are going to spend a week in Iceland for our honeymoon. For a long time, we've looked at pictures of Reykjavik, the volcanoes, mountains and the northern lights. Most people getting married in Minneapolis during October probably wouldn't make a northern vacation their first choice for a honeymoon, but we're not most people. The northern lights will be visible, and fall is a nice time to cozy up and clomp around the city, as well as to take day trips to hike along the beach and in the foothills. We are also going to explore the gateway to hell, Hekla Volcano! This will be where we celebrate our marriage and lifelong commitment to each other.
